I've always loved Ocean Drums since I was a little kid. Especially growing up in Arizona, where the ocean is vertually untouchable.
This drum is perfect for a first time buy. Not too expensive, it sounds great and it feels pretty durable; well made for the price. My lil buddy Mr Frodo, loves the ocean drum too.

Sounds very similar to the waves, but takes a very steady hand. The slower you can move the drum, the more clear and realistic the sound. Perfect for a beginner like me to start my collection with, not spend a lot of money, and practice the method while I save for the next level wave drum.

I wasn't sure about this drum at first. Now I am in LOVE with it. The key is to move it slowly, then you can get the right rhythm and create the ocean wave sound. I could seriously play this all day for myself. It truly sounds just like the waves crashing along the shoreline. I only ordered one at first, but I love it so much I ordered the next larger size.
