Schumann Swing Chimes

When you swing or rotate these chimes, they make a etherial sound that fills the room with healing vibrations. 

We use aluminum, not steel, because aluminum has the ability to ring overtones, which are hidden sounds in music. Comes in marked tubes for safe and easy storage and transportation.

Overtones have a massage-like effect because it produces more pulsations. Those overtones travels through the body creating structural and physiological healing.

Studies have shown that sound has a direct impact on the mental processes, muscles, nervous system, heartbeat, pulse, digestive system and circulatory system.

The 8 note Schumann Swing Chime plays the C Major scale starting at C5 (Tenor C) which is one octave above middle C (generally where singing bowls notes start), which makes this a great pairing with our quartz crystal singing bowls.

Note: Our swing chimes are made of aluminum, which is a soft metal, great for harmonics and sound healing. Because of the softness, there could be small marks, rubs, dents or scratches. Rest assured, the chime isn’t damaged, nor is the tuning off. It can happen during packing by the manufacturer, or during shipping and handling. It does not impact the effectiveness of the chimes in any way. 

The Schumann Resonance 

The Schumann Resonance is a natural phenomenon that refers to the extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves that exist in the Earth's atmosphere.

The Schumann Resonance is named after the German physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who first predicted the existence of these waves in 1952. The fundamental frequency of the Schumann Resonance is approximately 7.83 Hz, which corresponds to the resonant frequency of the Earth-ionosphere cavity.

The Schumann Resonance is believed to have a variety of effects on living organisms, including humans. Some researchers have suggested that exposure to the Schumann Resonance can help improve physical and mental well-being by promoting relaxation and reducing stress levels. However, the research in this area is still preliminary, and further studies are needed to fully understand the effects of the Schumann Resonance on human health and behavior.
